Dear Readers of this Fine Periodical,
The creators and I had a bit of a powwow yesterday morn to discuss the upcoming season. As it seems, they have family obligations and a desparate need to attend events at their homes. They inform me that this behavior is quite the norm and I shall take their word for it.
To that end, we will take a brief hiatus - a perfect word for this time from those Spaniards to the south would be a “siesta” - the end of which time we shall return idea plump and schedule bound.
May your holiday be full of family, friends, and an assortment of paper crowns.
Yours,
Barkminster J. Higgins

Last week was all about Craig’s first date in five years and we thought it would be fun to give out dating advice. After all, because we wrote this and put it on the internet, we’re now experts, probably.
Do you have questions about dating? Going on a blind date and looking for conversation starter? Does your boyfriend love cats? (ugh)

Next week! Another episode in the saga of Barky & Craig. THE DATE THICKENINGS!

Hey.
As Barkminster mentioned before, we’re switching to a every other week model. Both Jenny and I have become super busy with work and projects (Jenny dances in awesome music videos and I am exploring a normal sleep pattern). Because of that we wanted to create an interactive environment so that our readers can ask us questions, give us high-fives, suggest chili recipes, and figure out what the hell this webcomic is about (not about chili).
So, feel free to respond to this post with absolutely anything. Try to keep it clean.
Thanks!
David
P.S. - I’m trying to recode this Disqus add-on but right now click on the garbled mess to the right to comment.
Right.
This week the right honorables Miss Jennifer Fine and Mr. David Faroz Precht have taken leave of their duties and shan’t be releasing a new page of this splendid periodical. Do not fear, however. A new page of the on-going will post to your televisual device 4 November in the year of our Lord 2011 (the future). From this point on, sparks of brilliance will appear less frequent, arriving every other 7 days.
It is a sacrifice that we must all bear for crystalline pages of word, art, and imagination.
Good day,
Barkminster J. Higgins
